
Adventure Awaits This July at Merlo Community Center
Summer is in full swing, and there’s still plenty of time to make unforgettable memories at the Merlo Community Center! Whether your child loves exploring the outdoors, making new friends, or learning new skills, our July programs offer something for everyone.
Our Bunk’d at Merlo Summer Camp is providing children ages 6–17 with an exciting mix of outdoor adventures, sports, arts, STEM activities, gardening, and team-building experiences.
Camp runs July 1 through July 17 (closed July 3 and weekends) and is designed to help young participants stay active, build confidence, and create lasting friendships in a fun, supportive environment.

The 2026 Yosemite Trip takes place July 21–24 as part of the Outdoor Equity Program.

This program gives youth an incredible opportunity to connect with nature, develop leadership skills, and experience one of California’s most beautiful national parks.
Registration is also open for the 49ers Gold Rush Cheer Camp, taking place on August 2, 2026, from 9:00 AM to 2:30 PM at the Merlo Community Center.

Many of these opportunities are made possible through California’s Outdoor Equity Program, which helps provide youth with life-changing outdoor experiences that promote confidence, healthy lifestyles, leadership, and a lifelong appreciation for nature.
At Merlo Community Center, every program is built around adventure, friendship, growth, and creating memories that last a lifetime. We look forward to welcoming new and returning participants throughout the summer.
